Not a secret. For a NEW car, decide what you want, let say an Accord, go to the Honda site, tell them what you want, the dealers will send YOU their best price. period. Prepare to get lowballed on your trade, or selling it yourself.
If you are searching for used. it is a complete different discussion. Where do you live? -
Oh, if you have a trade in, let me know year make model, mileage trim level manual or automatic, stuff like that and I will help you

01/08/15 DFW Regular $7,900 68,001 Avg BLACK 8G A Yes
01/21/15 SAN ANTO Regular $5,000 179,746 Below SILVER 8G A Yes
01/22/15 DFW Lease $6,300 123,245 Avg RED 8G A Yes
Okay, you can see the dates and the auctions. two are average, meaning whomever bought them has to spend money on reconditioning, oil change, inspection, detail, tires maybe, and anything else that is wrong. Below average means it is a turd bucket and a NEW car dealer wouldn't have bought it, or it was bought by a low end used car dealer. Go to Craigslist in your city, and search under "for sale by owner" and you will get a prety good idea what your is worth if you sell it yourself. be honest with yourself on the BMW's condition and it will save some headaches. Everybody should have the joy of selling their car out of your driveway!
Ask away if you have any more questions
