Does Mark Helfrich realize he's nor recruiting in the WAC?

"Jake Breeland remembers his surprise as a junior when he learned a college football coach was at Trabuco Hills High to visit him.
“Maybe some Division II school,” he thought.
“Wait, did you say Oregon?” he asked. “I was shocked out of my mind.”

Oregon refers to its recruiting targets as “our kind of guys,” said Andrew Greif, who covers the Ducks for the Oregonian.

What Oregon’s recruiting class does have, experts believe, are players, such as Breeland, who were selected for how they are projected to do in the Ducks’ system, not for their star-ranking from recruiting websites and experts.

Strange that Helfrich is copying Petersen's OKG terminology, no way Chip Kelly would do that.

Maybe that's why it's best to be the coach who replaces the coach who replaced a legend.

    Please expand on that comment.

And are you also saying Helfrich has been using the term OKG for years?

Screw the semantics, even after Oregon became the hottest brand in NATIONAL recruiting, they still offer 2-star players. Oregon has always recruited "their kind of player". Dating back decades. They might not use the OKG acronym, but the premise has been around longer than "okg".

It's not about the 2 stars, it's about the philosophy behind OKG.

Blount, Mastoli, and these guys are the anti-OKGs: sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4934763

According to your logicFS, Marcus Peters is OKG too.

    this thread is doogtastic

this thread sounds like eQuook when someone pipes up and mentions that other schools use "win the day" and that it is in fact a verse in the Cuog fight song

also, too. PLSS is the fucking fracking voice of reason here. Fuck Frack.

But who knew that "win the day" was in the Cuog fight song?

Regardless, gotta give credit to Oregon for cleaning shit up while still winning at a good rate. Todd TurnerFS brought in Losingham to clean things up and he sucked the life out of Husky Stadium.
