Favorite Commits

Some of you never say anything negative, but I do. Here are my least favorites: Baccellia, Jordan Miller, and Manu. Hopefully they are good and I can be mocked for my tbs evaluating skillz.

Favorites: Gaskin, Browning, Roberts, Adams, Pounds... Just out: Joyner, Kirven
Least Favorites: Rice, Manu, Neal
EDIT: Forgot to say I kinda get the Rice thing, hasn't played football til 2 years ago. So I see it, but I think it's too much of a reach. -
I think he is greyshirting anyways.CokeGreaterThanPepsi said:Favorites: Gaskin, Browning, Roberts, Adams, Pounds... Just out: Joyner, Kirven

Favorite: AJ Carty
Least favorite: Everyone else (tie) -
I will pick my favorite commits in 4 years, so that way I don't look foolish.
-
Favorite: Fat guys (Roberts, Adams, Hilbers, McCoy) and Browning. (Hopefully Potoa'e joins this group).
Least Favorite: All the skinny guys that don't pan out.
Darkhorse pick for Scout Team POY: Scrempos. -
Browning, because he's the only one I saw play in person and he's from my hometown. The little fast midget from Federal Way is my second favorite because that picture of him next to the other commits is LOL funny and I like his tape.
-
Also has the most creative nickname "The Blue Mamba"- how do they ever come up with this stuff?Doogles said:Browning, because he's the only one I saw play in person and he's from my hometown. How did he look? (Yes, stupid question, I know).Doogles said:Browning, because he's the only one I saw play in person and he's from my hometown. The little fast midget from Federal Way is my second favorite because that picture of him next to the other commits is LOL funny and I like his tape.

Also Charles watched him play and probably has a more professional opinion here: http://hardcorehusky.com/forums/#/discussion/16996/jake-browning-will-play-right-away/p1 -
It's looking like a really good class. We did well at QB, RB, OL, and LB. DL, WR, and TE are a little underwhelming, but we did very well with DL the year before. It seems like we took a lot of bodies at DE/Buck in hopes a few pan out. I think we have some stout young guys on the DL, but we are lacking pass rushers.
WR is underwhelming, but there are some guys who could upgrade it. What is the plan for Pounds? WR or the secondary? Hopefully Coke or Dennis have an idea. Same question for McClatcher. I'm not sure if he's playing RB or WR. I personally like him at RB.
Petersen is building the lines. Strong lines and good QB play is the easiest path to success. Gotta love it. -
Warren!

That's what troubles me. You simply can't win consistently in this league if you can't make opposing QBs feel uncomfortable.RoadDawg55 said:It's looking like a really good class. How can anyone not like Manu...he looks like he's already 25 and he's got a melon large enough to be worth at least two forced fumbles a season.
-
I love that picture, I am guessing Chico is 5'5"... Whatever Neal is Chico is AT LEAST a foot shorter than him. Not bashing Chico, really like his game!
-
Trey "Grizzly" Adams. Joyner and Gaskin are good, too. Everyone else is whatever/fine.
Bacchus is cruddy. -
Ricky McCoy looks promising.
-
I am already looking to your after signing player by player breakdown. I plan to wear adult undergarments when reading it. Because pee.Dennis_DeYoung said:Trey "Grizzly" Adams. Joyner and Gaskin are good, too. Everyone else is whatever.

Definitely doesn't lack confidence.GrundleStiltzkin said:Ricky McCoy looks promising.
Although this is slightly troubling:
-
Adams, Hilbers and Roberts. God dammit it all starts with a great fucking OL!
-
All the black kids are tied for first. All the white kids tied for last. The lazy Polynesians aren't even on my list
-
I really like Renfro at WR and McClatcher is a slot guy. I'm happy with that (big guy, slot guy). "Tenderly make love to" Bacchus.
Sorry @DerekJohnson, I'm trying to reform myself and salty language.
At DL, if we get Potoa'e, I feel really good. We have Benning, Predator and Scorpio. Without Potatoe things looks squirrelly. -
Austin "Fuck Wazzu" Joyner
-
Adams. Finally we have a commit along the O-line who at least looks the part (we will see how he develops at UW). I also like Roberts but I think he will be moving inside.
Otherwise:
I like BBK and Beavers at LB. Both seem to have the instinct to play that position and have at least an understanding of what gap to fill and how to attack it.
Joyner is huge. Should play SS but if he can play corner at his size I am all for it. -
I said no racist shit!HuskyJW said:All the black kids are tied for first. All the white kids tied for last. The lazy Polynesians aren't even on my list

Judging from nothing but my own look test and something else, I think the best players will end up being Gaskin, Adams, Roberts, Browning and Bartlett.
-
I'd be thrilled if Browning is who we think he is. Gaskin, Joyner, Adams and Beavers are my other favorites in this class.
-
Browning gaskins Adams Roberts Joyner.
I hate all of our midget wr's. Wtf. -
A kindred spirit I see. Because peyote.HuskyJW said:All the black kids are tied for first. All the white kids tied for last. The lazy Polynesians aren't even on my list
