George Farmer sells the couch

I feel like he was at USC about as long as William Doctor was at UW. That means a fucking long time.
-
Ellis McCarthy sold his couch last night too, also Arik Armstead:
-
That's unexpected. Probably keeps Juju smith at WR and not safety. Farmer was on the same high school team as Robert Woods, Marquise Lee, and Paul Richardson and widely seen as the best prospect of the bunch. Injuries slowed his career from the start. He just reccently showed progress and I thought was set for a big year.
Ellis McCarthy of UCLA also sold the couch, though he never really lived up to his billing. Played with too high a pad level for a tackle and never got in shape to play DE. -
I think that applies to Armstead too, didn't match the hype. Wouldn't kick either one outta my purple sheets though.
-
Armstead declaring is lol
-
IMO, Armstead should have played OT... he is a good player, but I think he could have been a top 10 pick at OT.
-
Glad to see Armstead go. Of course every duck is an all american against UW
-
Ducks lose a lot on defense and OL. Schedule gets tougher too.
The regression is coming...
-
Also, "George Farmer" has be the mostly unlikely name for a USC receiver in the last 30 years.

This just frees up more scholarships for Sark. He is a great recruiter, so I expect an upgrade. The rest of the Pac doesn't stand a chance now.

Armstead has been projected as a first-round pick by some NFL general managers.

I'd rather he stuck around. I don't watch the NFL. But he likes money. -

I read this morning where he had a career high 9 tackles in the NC and that, yes, he projects as a late first or early second rounder. He made the right call, despite what some of the Mensas on this board would opine... -

I'm hearing 9 tackles 10 yards downfield for a DL is always special. -
Him hobbling off the field and throwing up the white flag against tOSU should be a red flag to any NFL GM.HuskyJW said:

Would like to see Buckner join Farmstead. He's better IMO
-
Good choice by Farmer, he doesn't want Sark ruining his career.

Really? They lose UCLA and pick up USC.BallSacked said:Ducks lose a lot on defense and OL. Schedule gets tougher too.

They also play Eastern Washington and Georgia State. Funny how the ducks made fun of us for our OOC this year when they have pretty much the same next year.
I'd say schedule gets easier. -
Buckner declared he's staying in Eugene.
-
@ASU @UW @MichSt @Stanf is much harder than what they had last year in my opinion.whatshouldicareabout said:

After sitting down with my parents and weighing all the pros and cons, I have come to the conclusion that it is best for me to return to school for my senior year,” Buckner said. “I am close to finishing my degree and that is very important to me. That is the reason I came here in the first place.AZDuck said:Buckner declared he's staying in Eugene.

With the depth of talent at DE for the upcoming draft I'm not projected to go very high. -
