If I remember right his current contract has two more years on it. I'd extend him one year and raise his pay to 3.5 million a year over the three seasons.
After the end of the 2016 season if he still has the program clipping along I'd give him a 5 year contract at $5 million per. -

He did lay all the ground work for Harbaugh, Brian Kelly, and Peterman to be successful. Oh, and also Brian Kelly.
