I think Sankey is a solid starting point as a comparison. Gaskin doesn't have eye popping speed and looks similar size. He just looks really good like Sankey, with good speed, great balance and quickness etc. He just does everything well and is fast enough to get away.
I think this class would be fine with him as the feature running back and the "blue mamba" as the utility/change of pace/whatever you want to call it. -
He seriously looks like a Sankey clone to me. The thing you can't see is whether he has the same commitment to greatness Sankey did. Sankey was not only a talented player, but he was a hard working, lunch-pail type kid, if that can be applied to an #edgy player.
Gaskin has the ability... he's probably got more top-end speed than Sankey, but looks similar to Sankey in terms of burst.
Gaskin is a great pick up. It's easy to downplay kids who've been committed all year, but if he were uncommitted right now people would be saying 'either him or Warren and a second tier back would make my year!'.
I'd like to get Warren, but we already have a top tier back in this class. -

Is it crazy to think Gaskin is better than Warren? There has been a lot of talk about Warren, rightfully so, but Gaskin is a great RB prospect. Along with Joyner, he might be my favorite prospect in the class.

Not crazy at all.
