If Sark doesn't want the question all he has to say is, "Austin is not suspended for the game. We decided that the internal punishment, the punishment that the legal system handed out, and the things Austin has done in the community to show he has corrected his behavior makes us comfortable that he and the rest of our team have learned a valuable lesson in regards to driving under the influence."
All he has to say is that....and it's over with. Then he can tell reporters to fuck off. Reporters and columnists will still give him shit in the papers and online, but at least he would have the answer out rather than letting this stupid fucking thing linger. -

That's the problem when you aren't a leader which Sark isn't one. Sark wants to be liked by everyone and he knows this decision is drawing a line in the sand. Now a coach like Saban, Kelly or even Mora can care less who they piss off. They'll make a decision and go with it. While Sark is hoping this just goes away without him having to say something on the subject.
He also likes to out think himself a lot so he is probably thinking he'll trick Boise as they will have to prepare if ASJ is playing and prepare if he isn't.
I agree with you though this has been an issue for over a month too long. Sark should have said exactly what you said back in July so by now it's no longer an issue. -
