It's always nice when a brand new shiny restaurant moves into the neighborhood.
Now we'll see how good the food is. -
How many wins?
-
where my Ivar's clam chowder bread bowls at?
-
Seriously, it is a thing of beauty.

Wake me when someone outside the Puget Sound pops off.

Even the private schools in texas are throwing $250 at stadium projects. http://www.baylor-stadium.com/the-look/TierbsHsotBoobs said:Wake me when someone outside the Puget Sound pops off.

It seems like it is going to become more elite-ified. It used to be the old seats were about the same amount of crowding and discomfort. Now with an open wallet you can pretty much live in the lap of luxury. The students, of course, are going to spend a lot of time looking at the jumbotron. Actually I though old huskie stadium was fine except for the track, and anybody not under cover getting drenched. The latter will still hold. I don't give a flying fuck about the restrooms. The new ones don't have a moat. So fucking what.

Has anyone sat in the north deck yet?
I am not a physicist, but if sight lines were supposed to be optimal in the old setting, and then the field was moved but the seats were not, would it not be a logical inference that part of the north side of the field will not be visible to some denizens of the north deck? -

Race Bannon has done it again!
-
I like the 7 at midfield and for those in the south end zone it could appear to be an "L" for loser. Nice touch!
-
Someone please explain the pool boy/Woodward story

I knew they spent a lot on the stadium, but I didn't realize they moved it to Kenmore.He_Needs_More_Time said:I like the 7 at midfield and for those in the south end zone it could appear to be an "L" for loser. Nice touch!

Sight lines and the water table made lowering the field impossible.RavennaDawg said:Has anyone sat in the north deck yet?

You want to know why some people refer to Sark as Pool Boy?Gladstone said:Someone please explain the pool boy/Woodward story

Would you say the new stadium is worth 2 wins? 3?
Between the stadium and Ross, we're already nearing our magic 7. -
Probably 3. With John Ross's 2 and Keith Price's 2 (which is really sad because Cyler Miles starting he is worth at least 5) we have our 7-6 magical season.Dawgs4ever said:Would you say the new stadium is worth 2 wins? 3?

Fuck no. Lowering the field means the altitude changed. Can't expect our lungs to adjust that quickly. We're still only at 4 wins.Dawgs4ever said:Would you say the new stadium is worth 2 wins? 3?

Huh?

Great. . .in addition to altitude problems now we have to deal with climate change, too.RavennaDawg said:

Between that and the economy, you can't expect more or less than 7 wins.tracker said:

I mean this will be the first time UW ever plays at this new stadium same with Boise. So is it really a home field advantage?Dawgs4ever said:Would you say the new stadium is worth 2 wins? 3?

Tough to win on basically a neutral field.
