good stuff, thanks for posting. What were you thoughts on Browning after seeing him live?

A couple of things stood out to me in watching not only this video, but also the full game highlight video:
1) I love the way that Browning manipulates the defense with his body/eyes by moving the safety from the side of the field that he wants to throw the ball to
2) The throws are generally thrown away from the defense when on the sidelines and when in the middle of the field thrown in a spot where the receiver can catch and run without breaking stride.
3) If there was a weakness in the film, it was that he wasn't great trying to throw on the run and often threw off of his back leg in those situations. That being said, I don't think that those are going to be the kind of throws that he'd be asked to make with Petersen.
In an ideal world, Browning would RS his first year, be the backup his RS Frosh year, and then be a 2-3 year starter. However, he'll definitely push Miles immediately because he's bringing something that nobody else is. If Miles doesn't continue to grow, he'll run the risk of being passed up. -
Small hitch in his throw and it's like he doesn't like to compete. Pass.

@DonaldJones @CharlesMincy - now that you've seen Browning live how would you guys rank all the great California QBs in this years class?
-
He's got a funky over-the-top delivery. And tequila, enough with the film evaluation and back foot bullshit. It was a video of 10 throws. That is Yale's expertise, dont you know that?

The thing about that film that you guys probably like the best, is that a team that is almost wearing purple, is beating a team wearing yellow.
It's as close as you'll ever get. What a great day for the doogs. -
Since when does Oregon wear school colors?OZONE said:The thing about that film that you guys probably like the best, is that a team that is almost wearing purple, is beating a team wearing yellow.

I wonder what color stars Baker was seeing after that hit.

Reminds me of when i was happy Casey Paus committed after I saw his high school highlight video.

If you watched Cory Paus play you would have realized he was genetically engineered to suck at football

Good question.BallSacked said:@DonaldJones @CharlesMincy - now that you've seen Browning live how would you guys rank all the great California QBs in this years class?
Poise and Preparation is what i like about the kid(Browning). He is the most mentally ready of the other top QB's in SoCal as far as football IQ.
SoCal is deep at QB but from what i saw The top Senior QBs i have seen are:
1. Josh Rosen,
2. Blake Barnett,
3.Sheriron Jones,
4. Jake Browning,
5.Sam Darnold
6.Travis Waller
7. Brady White
8.Ricky Town
I think Browning has more upside but I just need to see what he can do under more pressure. Can he take a hit? His O-Line is no joke. His size and his arm strength will improve. Mark Brunnell didn't have the strongest arm when he first got to Washington but it got stronger as he got older.
Also, I love his swagger. He was not fazed when guys got in his face and tried to initmidate him. Poise and Preparation is what comes to my mind while watching him.
