no... it was not "last year".. it was the last time some yokel was claiming to have more speed, based on nothing.

Texas has a much, much better defense that UW.. I don't think that can be debated.

The fact that you even brought up Texas demonstrates that you don't understand the team that you will be facing.

OU had a bigger OLine than UW - supposedly bigger than almost every team, including the NFL. We won.

That great defense and "heat from the edge" got you beat 5 times. You played 5 ranked teams and lost every single time. Your record is one game better than OSU if you eliminate that 13th game against Hawaii

We played 6 ranked teams (half in the top 10), and actually won one of them.... and that was with having to play 3 different QBs because of injury.

You lost your 5 games with the "best guy on the field" playing QB... go figure.


I'm glad you're excited about your team - don't expect a lot of smoke and bravado to impress us.

BTW - that "slow Texas team" lost 20-17 to UCLA... didn't the Bruins run rough shod over you to the tune of 44 points? you know, that "fast", "powerful" defense with the speed rush ends... that's the same one that gave up 44 to UCLA, right?
