Price runs around and throws it out of boundsBTW bubble screen falls into the short pass category

Peg Left.

short passShort sideline pass to KW that gets stuffed for either no gain, or a loss of 1....if it's a reception at all. Second guess, Price throws into the Bronco sideline for an incomplete pass.

No 5 wide??

Huskies start on their own 10, down by 7 following a kick off return for a touchdown by Williams-Rhodes. Price lines up in the gun, bobbles a high snap and hand off on a fly sweep that is blown up by Lawrence. Lawrence forces and recovers a fumble, then rumbles two yards for a touchdown. BSU 14, UW 0 with 14:30 to go in the first. Fleenor tweets he predicted this in an in depth discussion he had with his BFF Beebe.

Run to sankey
Sark stays calm and remains the epitome of grace under pressure. Knowing that BSU is undersized and young up front on defense, Sark begins to pound away with the ground game. As the first quarter transitions into the second, the Husky offense marches downfield in chunks of 4-5 yards a pop. They soon tie the game, then take the lead, and when the game ends, Washington has christened its news stadium with a 38-17 win, led by Bishop Sankey's 256 yards rushing on 42 carries.Southerndawg said:Huskies start on their own 10, down by 7 following a kick off return for a touchdown by Williams-Rhodes. pass deepSark keeps talking about the speed of the WR and new deep threat. He will try Kasen Williams as decoy and go the Ross for a bomb.

stays calm and remains the epitome of grace under pressureappearing pale, gaunt and with black rings around his eyes from lack of sleep, breaks down, shaking and crying. Knowing that BSU is undersized and youngup front on defense, Sark suddenly recognizes that they are running the vaunted zone read spread option offense. His defense has little chance of avoiding an epic plunger. He decides to up the pace of his newfangled up-tempo offense. After 10 successive three and outs, Wilcox barks at Sark "Sack up you pussy. Quit your damn crying. There is NO crying in football. AND if you run one more up tempo series, you're gone. There will be no warning".
Sark ignores the advice of his DC. Another three and out. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, a right cross followed by a vicious left uppercut. Sark is transported back in time. He's in Husky Stadium, picking his sorrow ass up off the carpet. Purple Jerseys surround him. He knows not what hit him. In a daze, he picks up a football and huddles the offense. Curiously he notices his team mates are not wearing the blue and white of BYU. No matter. He will run the offense. He has his Cougars on track for an unbeaten season, they just have to weather the purple assault ..... he then hears someone yell "coach!" He looks around and is stunned, LaVell Edwards is nowhere to be found. Sark's trainers give him oxygen. Wilcox removes the mask and instructs the trainers to wheel Sark off the field and into the locker room where he can rest peacefully and allow the remaining coaches to rally the troops.
Meanwhile, the BSU offense finds its stride. The Huskies three and outs have allowed BSU to score like they're playing a pinball machine. They run up the score. Its 65-0 at halftime, but the Huskies have improved their chances. The coaching staff suddenly improved (addition by subtraction), views the second half as an opportunity for redemption. They come out on fire, and hold BSU to a mere three touchdowns in the second half. Late in the fourth, Price connects with Ross for the first first down of the game. They then score on an inside zone read executed brilliantly by Price and Sankey. Final score 86-7 BSU, AND another second half moral victory for the Huskies.begins to pound away with the ground game. Cooper up the middle. No gain. Crowd goes nuts. Not a dry eye in the house. Cooper has an MRI after the game, surgery scheduled next the week.

As the first quarter transitions into the second, the Husky offense marches downfield in chunks of 4-5 yards a pop. They soon tie the game, then take the lead. Sark then goes into multiple WR sets and passes on first and 3rd downs. Bubble screens, fly sweeps, reverses and gadget plays. UW misses a game tying 55 yard FG as time expires.

We never find out cause Lawrence runs right by hatchie and blows the play up before it even gets startedSoutherndawg has made this month's 10.99 worth it.

short passI should have picked deep pass. I could see Sark thinking let's really get the crowd into and catch Boise off guard by going deep. Problem is, Boise State's coach isn't an idiot like Sark and will be more than ready it.

pass deepDeep pass bounces of Mickens hands, and Ross comes out of nowhere to catch it and take it to da' house.

I know what Sarks LAST 4 play-calls will After a nice return by Ross, to the 25yd line of BSU, with the game tied and 2:21 left on the clock, and the running game clicking ALL NIGHT.
Instead of pounding Sankey down the middle of the field, to get closer and centered for the winning kick, AND killing the clock to assure BSU can't come back for the winning kick, Sark will prove his stupidity once again. (see Oregon St. vs Sark last year) Sark will call THREE STRAIGHT passes and boot (and prolly miss the field goal. )
Then BSU will take the 2minutes left on the clock, March down the field and win. (unlike OSU, who almost did though) -

Sark is a crappy coach but he's typically pretty good at making sure UW is getting the final kick/score in those situations.puppylove_sugarsteel said:I know what Sarks LAST 4 play-calls will After a nice return by Ross, to the 25yd line of BSU, with the game tied and 2:21 left on the clock, and the running game clicking ALL NIGHT.

My fear with Sark is he tends to out think himself down in the red zone. He'll get frustrated and go for it on 4th and 2 instead of taking the points(see Notre Dame 2009, BYU 2010, Nebraska 2011 off the top of my head). He'll also try and get too cute like trying to draw WSU offsides instead of just pounding Sankey for a 3rd and 1. Another time running a fly sweep to Callier on fourth and goal from the 1 vs WSU in 2010 when he tried his best to blow that game.
