The B1G sucks but TCU beat Minnesota so they are in. Spock would go insane reading this bored

    TCU won't win their league

I'm sure Spock (75k) would see the logic in saying Arizona sucks when they get drilled by Oregon, but Ohio state is great when they beat lesser ranked Wisconsin team.
I've been defending Arizona since we played them. If you think Ohio States win means wisconsin sucks I pointed out the logical correlation

    Hope this helps

And for anybody really bitching about TCU vs. Baylor at this point ... last week we were looking at Alabama and Mississippi St being in the Top 4. If Mississippi St would have beat Ole Miss and finished with 1 loss, would anybody have batted an eye? It's a similar situation with TCU and Baylor.

How is having both MSU and Bama in anything at all like having TCU in and Baylor out?

The storyline has always been that the Big 10 sucked this year. They proved it in the non-conference season by not beating anybody. ANYBODY.

As was pointed out, Wisconsin lost to Northwestern. Northwestern was BAD this year. Yet Wisconsin was good enough to win their division. That should speak volumes about how bad the Big 10 was this year.

Ohio may be one of the top 4 teams in the country ... but really hard to say that how they are beating Wisconsin all of a sudden makes them look great. Particularly when you have the people saying that are also trying to say that Arizona isn't any good. Arizona is much better than Wisconsin.

Curbstomping Wisconsin with your #3 QB says a lot.

If you don't win your conference thats on you. Right now we are going to have a legit 1 loss conference winner stay home. I really don't give a shit about the 9th place team that couldn't win their conference.

I have no desire to see an 8th seed Michigan State get hot and win the Natty.

And you may not care about the 1st out ... but those who want a 16 team playoff would point to it.

The problem is every year college football gets more fucked ... I was pissed when I saw a TCU sign that said ... Smelling Roses ... Fuck you ... you fucking fuck.

An 8-team tourney is unworkable too.

I needed 2 losses from teams this weekend to feel comfortable ... I'm not feeling great about anything right now.

If KState can at least get the game to a 1 score game I'll feel a lot better about the TCU vs. Baylor debate.

I think you are okay there. Jumping three spots seems like a lot for Baylor. Ohio State on the other hand...

That logic hasn't worked the entire season in the rankings - has it? Or are your eyes better than mine?

I just think it's going to be a follow the money type of situation.

Big 10 has a shitload of money ... even though the conference has been a fraud all year.

I really don't think they'll keep both those big12 teams at home for a Ohio State squad with their 3rd string QB

I just don't see any chance that the Big10 gets shutout of this with the performance that Ohio is throwing out there tonight.

This allows for a punting of the decision of TCU vs. Baylor. Baylor's screwed the entire time because of their lack of OOC. TCU has the Baylor problem. Also allows the committee to say that 13 game seasons >>> 12 game seasons.

This was pretty much the worst scenario possible for me today.

The consensus from Baylor alum and TCU alum around the office has been when the season ended, TCU and Baylor would be equally considered and Baylor would move in and TCU would move out.

tOSU is kicking ass in a conference championship with a 3rd string QB ... TCU and Baylor will be on the outside looking in.

The Big 12 needs to get back to the Big 12 with a conference championship real quick ... or this could be a standard theme for them.

    And

Baylor beat TCU ... they are the conference champion. Anyone who argues different is a fucktard.

The books will recognize them as co-champions.

In the old days of automatic bowl tie-ins, Baylor would obviously be the team that would have represented the conference.

At the start of the season the Big 12 rules said Baylor would be the champs

They put all their cards on Texas and lost.

Both Baylor and TCU are better than OhioSt and FSU, in my opinion. But TCU lost to Baylor and Baylors non Conference schedule is embarrassing. I think it's TCU and OhioState that get fucked, but it should be FSU that gets fucked. Undefeated or not, they are not better than those other 5 teams.

It would have been total chaos if Alabama lost today - SEC could have been shut out of the CFP!

My ideal scenario would've been Bama, Oregon, FSU, TCU, Baylor and tOSU losing.

    holy fuck

    just saw the osu score

52-0 against #13 wisconsin with 3rd string QB? how does this team not make the final 4?
