I am sure Coogfan is hearing Pelini or Muschamp to WSU!
This could effect a certain recruit from Marysville as well...

Leach is just throwing people under the bus to make it look like he's doing something.

He. Needs. More. Time.PurpleBaze said:Leach is just throwing people under the bus to make it look like he's doing something.

Someone needs to make a post on CougFan saying next year is the first year of Leach's regime that counts. #Bleenor

Clearly someone was going to have to be sacrificed and it surely wasn't going to be anybody from the record setting offense.
Do the Cuogs even have a RB coach? -
Because having the best offense in the country being shut out through 3 quarters is a defensive issue.PurpleBaze said:Leach is just throwing people under the bus to make it look like he's doing something.
Gawd, I hope they NEVER fire Leech. -
I actually saw someone on cougfan pondering if they could pull Jeff Chode away from UW for their DC job

Auburn fired their defensive coordinator too. At least Malzhan is worth keeping.
I bet Muschamp lands there -
The hidden MVP in the Austin Joyner to UW caper is Mike Leach, apparently.
-
Well that's a promotion, so it really depends on if he absolutely hated Leach in his one season with him or just left because a better opportunity came along. If it's the latter, I can see that being a job he'd bolt for.bananasnblondes said:I actually saw someone on cougfan pondering if they could pull Jeff Chode away from UW for their DC job

This year's annual coog recruiting meltdown is going to be a good oneDennis_DeYoung said:The hidden MVP in the Austin Joyner to UW caper is Mike Leach, apparently.

Can
@CokeGreaterThanPepsiyou (didnt realize you started the thread) run some analytics on coaches firing coordinators and getting exponentially better?
It always seems like delaying the inevitable -
When Oregon fired Rich Stubler, our defense got better
When Oregon traded Gary Crowton for Chip Kelly, our offense got better -
True. These are exceptions. Not the norm. We have decades of evidence that it's the head coach that matters.AZDuck said:When Oregon fired Rich Stubler, our defense got better
