Good end to a disappointing season...

Always good to shut the Cuogs up, but Petersen & Co. left the Arizona and Stanford games on the table. Arizona was in the bag and Stanford could have ended up being a W.

Anyway, off to a shit tier bowl... the extra practices can't hurt.

Hopefully they can figure out the QB situation for 2015. Otherwise, it's going to be another shitshow season with Miles.

Good night, you fucking degenerates.

    ASU too.

But our season was over when we lost to Stanford though.

I was debating whether or not to include ASU. I left them off, because that was just a really fugly game.

The 15 practices are going to be huge for Miley

I thought Peterman would go 9-4.
He fucked up the Ari game...

If I were a coach, I would probably coach a similar style game as him - balanced attack with 2-5 trick plays mixed in.
No big complaints, other than his time management shortcomings.

I find it hard to believe that Miley will ever lead us to more than 6-3 in conference with his play.

Everything else about this team? I'm very encouraged about the direction and I'm looking forward to hopefully having a chance to go play Colorado State in Vegas and beating a team that will keep our attention as we prepare for a bowl unlike going to the Cactus Bowl and playing a MAC team that we may not stay as hungry for.

    CHRIST.

Colorado State might as well be a MAC team.

I think I would rather have Baylor drop the triple 7 on us in a real bowl than go play Colorado State is the Asswipe Bowl.

I expected 9-10 regular season wins so there's no way it can be spun as a great season, but Petersen has the team and they've actually improved. Though I'd like to see how they play versus good teams now.

I'd be curious to get a shot at USC.

Flagged for calling the Alamo a real bowl.

I also expected 9-10 wins but after seeing Miles against Stanford said we would be lucky to win more than 3-4 games the rest of the way. That is pretty much what happened then.

+: Given where I thought we were at the end of september, Peterman has actually done a pretty good job coaching up the team and was really close to get to the always special 5-4 in conference. The team never gave up, no 3 game losing streak or repeated plungerings. Fantastic defense with guys like Hudson, Feeney and Baker improving as the year went.

    - : I'm still convinced there was more talent on offense than what we made it look like.

I could be optimistic about next year but then I'm haunted by the vision of

I know it's fucking stupid to put hope into, but I really want Browning or the hyphen to just make it obvious they are better and take the job from Miles.

Miles was landlocked raised, and it shows in his mental development. He is the lingering sore on the new face of Washington. Minus his existence, full blown doogism would parade the bored for another undisputed off season natty.

I've heard Jake Browning's hands are huge.

Petersen knows how to use Miles in a way in which he won't throw four picks and piss the game away but he's not going to win anyone a Pac 12 title without more talent around him.

I thought we could have had two more wins, so the season is a huge disappointment. But then again, I wasn't aware how fucked up of a roster Sark had left us. Peterson had to replace key positions on offense with guys who had never been coached up.

I think the season long improvement of the players and team was the key to our first year under the new coach.

I think a lot of us are really hoping that Browning is one of those extremely rare fresh QBs that comes in and is a game changer right off the bat. For all of our personal health and sanity we really need this.
