Lincoln vs ODEA

Check Highlight's from our Washington Scout. UDUBB Recruit Myles Gaskins made some plays. One kid thats flying under the Radar is Lincoln's Jason Williams #4. I spoke to John Kitna and my former teammate with the New York Jets Eric Boles about him and they say he is the real deal. I like the kid and believe he can play at the next level. He may lack raw speed based on Myles Gaskins hawking him down from behind on one play but this kid is a football player. Let me know what you think.

Good stuff. Eric Boles is a name from the past for me. I'm a Central grad, used to have to guard him at open gym. Great athlete, injuries got him in nfl I believe

Yes. He had the same injury I had. He is good friend. I am very impressed on the program they are building over in Tacoma.

Williams looks like a guy that has some smooth route running to him and a willingness to go across the middle.
How often do you run a straight 40 yard dash on the football field - particularly at the WR position? It would seem to me that it's far more important to have good quickness, good acceleration, the ability to get in/out of breaks at the same speed, and polish in the ability to run routes. -
Tequilla. You are right on. I totally agree with you. Some kids are just born to play football. There are plenty of examples of NFL players that fit that discription

Looks like Gaskins has well documented fumbling problems.

So, what number is the Warren kid from Lincoln? Also, who is #2 from Lincoln?
-
Warren is #1 I believe.
-
Yes. Warren is #1
#2 is Dehonta Hayes Here is some clips of him. I spoke to John Kitna about him and he just loves the kid. 4.4 guy that just shows up on film. I should have some clips on Warren soon. Having some tech issues.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gThU2sZovMM&list=PLDqIYFz_XgrM95-IOK92HSIYzkVhSriTJ

Hayes and Williams are 2 guys I would love to see Coach Pete offer but tell them "keep it quiet" so other schools don't jump on the bandwagon. Williams has great body control and good enough speed. Thanks for posting the highlights.

Yea. I visited the program over there this summer and they are building something special. There is going to be pipeline so it would be smart to focus on signing a player or two from their program.
