In hindsight, moving Kikaha was a success

Yes, but Kawasaki took a few games to unleash Kikahakihakiha. He did seem have him playing too much coverage to start. Long term though a good move $$$-wise for Kikahakihakiha, and it's good to see the coaches adapting.

It was a good move, but Kikaha was dropped in coverage too often against Eastern. The next week against Illinois, Kikaha hardly dropped into coverage and had 3 sacks. I think there may have been some strategy to the Eastern game, and the coaches wanted to test the CB's and safeties to find out who the best guys were.

It's incomplete. Petersen has fucked up plenty this season.topdawgnc said:There is a trend.

This is why Littleton will excel at the BUCK position next year. He can do both.
-
Its almost like the coaches know how to run the team better than internet posters

It's hard for some to sit back and LIFPO given that we're so used to an alleged womanizing drunk running the program who spent a month every season clueless.bananasnblondes said:Its almost like the coaches know how to run the team better than internet posters

Peterman has proven nothing so far. You don't get the coveted title of "full brain" when you're 3-5 in conference play.topdawgnc said:There is a trend.

Littleton made no impact when he played Buck against UCLA. He might be decent, but I doubt he will excel. They don't have to guard receivers downfield either, it's mainly dropping in the flat so coverage really isn't that important.TTJ said:This is why Littleton will excel at the BUCK position next year. "You mean like the Oregon State game" up the middle
" ;-) " Faggoty winky face off the edge -
Kikaha has mainly been on the line. He has only dropped into coverage a handful of times the last 6 games. So Kawasaki actually took the advice from the internet trolls.

He dropped into coverage against Colorado and UA a ton.jecornel said:Kikaha has mainly been on the line. He has only dropped into coverage a handful of times the last 6 games. So Kawasaki actually took the advice from the internet trolls.

I don't recall, I will have to go back to game film. It appears I deleted the zona game.
I will take your word for it.
It seemed very situational to me when dropping back. I would say 90% of the time he was going after the QB.
Some stat superiority guy could probably figure out the amount times he dropped into space.
To pile up the amount of sacks he has, you need to be going after the QB. most of the time. -
Thanks orange slicer. Why don't you enlighten us on the matter.

This "wow, Peterman knows more about football than me" discovery process is going to become commonplace I have a feeling.Gladstone said:Would anyone disagree now? Many here, myself included, absolutely ripped into Kawasaki earlier in the year for this. This is me openly eating crow. As touched on during the podcast, cloaking where he will be lining up on each snap has been brilliant.

You do realize "the coach knows more than a bunch of internet posters" used to be mocked around here? No shit that Petersen knows more. So did Sark and Ty. He's also made plenty of on field mistakes this year.sarktastic said:
