No mention of monopoly or Neuheisel.

The Lakers are LAs team
-
So you're saying the record is not indicative of the cities support?
-
It sounds like they need to see championships.

The same type of logic was used for years by Washington fans as they kept getting, and keep getting owned by Oregon. We can stomp all over Mora as we please, but he is the better choice over seven win Steve in this matchup.
Even if USC out recruits the Bruins in a given year, Sark will traditionally, and it is a tradition now, find a way to fuck up the team and lose games. As I see it Jim Mora now has his system in place and is reaping quite a bit of talent from the Southland, and this could easily turn into a dozen year run over SC. -
Sc will always be the team down there unless they completely mess it up like we did. Like a decade of losing records. But they won't let that happen.

LA has and always will be a two team dominated town... it's Lakers and Dodgers as 1 and 1A depending on the decade. USC has it's moments in the sun, just like UCLA basketball, but anyone who has spent any time in this city knows it's two teams that rule and then a big dropoff to the rest of the hierarchy.
