Huskies vs. Arizona depth chart: John Ross III listed as starting CB
One significant change, though not all that surprising — sophomore John Ross III is now listed as a starting cornerback ahead of Naijiel Hale.

While not doubting that that's probably the right answer ... that also speaks volumes as to why we've had so many offensive problems.GrundleStiltzkin said: -
Most subdued I have seen Petersen this year.

He also had a very LONG pause before answering the question.Tequilla said:

I'd imagine that Petersen is as depressed as most of us are about this roster ... it's not a fun team to watch right now outside of #'s 7, 8, and 55.

Yes, consistently bad.
Tanigawa with his erratic snaps (including 2 that were above Mile's head when he caught them) and Atoe being Atoe. -
Maybe the blocking has been solid, but the snaps were glaringly bad in the UCLA game.whatshouldicareabout said:

Quoting Chris Petersen on Hau’oli Kikaha’s health, getting more out of the passing game and Arizona
(So Kikaha should be good for Saturday?) “He should be, we’ll see. I’ve thought a lot of guys should be good for Saturday the last couple weeks and we’re still waiting on some guys. He was out there today running around with us.”
(What did you think of Cyler’s performance?) “Again, I thought he did some good things. There’s a couple things if we could have got done…I thought overall we kicked three field goals, and if we could have scored a touchdown or two that would have dramatically changed things. That red zone offense is critical to us. Cameron Van Winkle and that field goal team are doing a nice job of getting us points, but we need to get touchdowns. That kind of changes the mojo of a lot of things.”
(You said the passing game was ‘painful’ post-game. What needs to happen?) “We just need to be able to throw the ball downfield a little bit more and make some plays. It was nice, we got one to Brayden (Lenius), a big chunk play. We had two other chances to Dante (Pettis) we couldn’t quite get done. We need to hit a few of those. We just need to be more efficient in there. Our run game is solid, but our run game could get better if we could pass the ball better.”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGeXBW5JAx8

My biggest pet peeve is when people say they did their best.
If you do it, you don't have to say you did your best.
If you fail, you say you did your best.
Nobody has held up a trophy and said I did my best!
If you have to say you did your best, you failed and you won't win because the other guy's best is better than yours. -

I know Tanigawa is a tough guy. He's battled back from injuries. He plays hard and, I suspect, commands a lot of respect from his teammates. But that guy's snaps have been a big problem. Not just against UCLA. The Colorado game was probably even worse. Oregon game was bad too. -

My son gets trophies for doing his best. His generation is growing up like this. I remind him that a trophy represents achievement of the highest level, not for showing up to the games. I was so proud of him when this season he told his coach that he doesn't want a trophy unless they win the most games.topdawgnc said:My biggest pet peeve is when people say they did their best.

I would always bring beef jerky and Mt Dew on snack day. Kids loved me. Mom's didn't.
