I go the StubHub route and most times save a lot. Print from home and away I go. Away tickets bought through universities almost always suck, with USC being the worst.

The away tickets for Arizona are in the upper deck (I got the last row), but at least I got a section reasonably close to midfield compared to most away game locations where they often send you in the worst row and worst section.

Arizona's stadium isn't particularly big at 55k seats, so I don't expect the seats to be that bad.

When I went to the Oklahoma-TCU game this year, I had seats towards the top of the stadium and they were definitely fine - similar sized stadium.

Whiskey - what section are you in?

I stopped buying away tickets from UW in 2003. I was at OSU in the endzone first row with the band standing in front of me. I had to find 4 open seats higher up and move. I could see zero of the field. Only the back of a tuba player. Since then I have waited until the week of the game or game day. Always get great seats at a good price. At Asu in 2008 I walked up to the box office 30 minutes before the game and bought 200 level seats on the 45 yard line for $35. Same with bowl games.

I found a ticket on the ground as I was scalping for that 2003 OSU game. I was pretty stoked about that.

    Redundant.

....... I could have bought four tix in the corner next to the UW cheerleaders one row back for 25.00 each via UA ticket office.....but I played the good soldier and went the UW route and now I am put in the opposite side, top second from the top row.

Add in for thought. For our trip to Cal game the UW wanted 80.00 per seat (x2: 160.00). Instead we opted to buy on game day at Cal from a scalper. On our trip we also went to two other games and bought great seats for Friday's WSU/Stanford (Pair 50.00); Saturday's UW/Cal (pair 50.00) and Sunday's Chargers/Raiders (pair 50.00) for a net savings of 10.00.

Stadiums never sellout anymore (except for Oregon's cute little stadium). So why not buy off the street and save the coin. I buy tacos in Mexico off the street, and some of you buy sex that way. It hasn't killed us yet.

    I like tacos and sex.

Wow, I must be kind of a high roller. I'm 7 rows in front of Whiskeydawg, and 8 rows in front of Tequilla.

yeah, I'm kind of a big deal apparently.

Or maybe UW just hates alcohol

Depends on what section you are in.

What I've learned about buying away game tickets from the UW is that they start with the best seats, go upwards and then over a section. Personally, I'd trade seats at the 30 for seats at the end zone for if it was lower and closer to the action.

Easy to arrange that for home games ... for road games you just take what you can get, find a bar before the game, throw a few back, and enjoy sitting in a section of purple.
