Who gives a shit? Most took him way to seriously, regardless whether he was sincere or masterful trolling. Sometimes a team will run a trick play or a special formation a few times leading up to a big game. The opposing team is forced to spend valuable practice on it. Whether the play is ever run again or not, the opposition just wasted time on it and the goal has been met. He was not sincere, he was a troll. He was posting under 4 different handles and with some of them he was being as degenerate as the rest of us.
I never listened to his podcasts and didn't really care, aside from concerns that he might be mentally unstable and creeping out some of our valued posters... But my litmus test is that if I'm not having as much fun as usual on these boards I know something is gumming up the works and needs to be fine tuned. Such was the case here, when his posts began cluttering up the board. -
