Brooks should be fired at midcourt

He should have already been fired for his playoff failures, but getting worked up over the first game is stupid. I didn't watch the game, but the Thunder have a lot of guys out.

Hold on, the NBA started?
call me in May when guys stop going through the motions -
The joke is that he should have already been fired. Last night was just a reminder why.RoadDawg55 said:He should have already been fired for his playoff failures, but getting worked up over the first game is stupid. I didn't watch the game, but the Thunder have a lot of guys out.

Brooks gives me hope that I can make it out of my moms basement someday. If he has a job then I can get one.

Exactly.DerekJohnson said:

Who's getting on the Blazer wagon? -
Neil Olshey is looking pretty good right now. Have the clippers made any good moves since he left? Hawes seems like a shit contract to me.greenblood said:

Agree about Hawes. It's a move that theoretically looks good and talking heads and analysts ate it up. Hawes will open the floor for Griffin and Paul. However, the other team will live with Hawes jacking up 3's and long jumpers all day. He's not very strong defender either. The impact will be minimal. The Clippers are overhyped and will be bounced in the 1st or 2nd round.haie said:

Lots of people who have never watched the NBA before up in this thread. You guys act like winning in the NBA is about having the best team. Not the case. It's about having the best story. And the "we used to be owned by a racist but now we're not because the NBA took a TUFF stand and made him sell the franchise and it took a huge weight off the team and now that we don't feel like slaves we can play to our REAL talent level but even if we're not good enough the refs are going to cheat to make sure we come out of the West and probably win the title" angle is money in the bank I can't help you.CuntWaffle said:Clippers gonna Clip when they make the playoffs. 2011-12 - Bounced in the conference semi finals to the Spurs 4-0
2012-13 - Bounced in the 1st round by the Grizzlies 4-2
2013-14 - Bounced in the conference semi finals to the Thundaer 4-2
I watch the NBA. Blake is soft and CP3 has yet to reach the finals. Clippers gonna Clip. -

The script has been written, and it's the Clips year.

1) OKC won't make the playoffs w/ Westbrook's injury. It's going to be a stretch for them to win 50+ games now.
2) I'm not saying that the Clippers are going to win the title this year ... but they are definitely in the discussion to come out of the West. -
Cavaliers win rather easily
-
So if you fire Brooks, who do you have to replace him? That's what I thought
-
Brooks has a CONTRACT
-
Lol. Sven's $20 that OKC makes the playoffs. Westbrook and Durant will be back before Christmas. You know once they get back, they are going to go off. They won't be fucking around. Until then, it will be a grind, but there are some shitty teams in the NBA. Jackson and Lamb are coming back any game. Once they do the Thunder won't even be that bad. The NBA has a lot of shitty teams that hardly even try.Tequilla said:1) OKC won't make the playoffs w/ Westbrook's injury. It's going to be a stretch for them to win 50+ games now.

2) I forgot that you are a Clippers homer. -
1) Still have to win 50 games in the West which means you can't have more than 32 losses - they already have 2 of them. Durant and Westbrook are still out for 4-6 weeks @ 3 games per day = 12 to 18 games that they will still miss. Conservatively let's say that that means that you are looking at another 8 losses on that - so there's 10 losses. You still will have a number of "schedule" losses the rest of the season. They were probably a 55 win team this year with everything going right. If they make it, they are going to barely slip in.
2) What's not to like about the Clippers? Championship winning coach. Arguably the best PG and PF in the game. They have pieces. Winning in the West is no joke though. -
Stop Tequilla. OKC is making the playoffs. Blake may be the best PF until the playoffs hit. You are forgetting the Spurs have the best PF of all time.

Clippers are no different from the Warriors, Mavs, Rockets, and Grizzlies. They might have lost if Bogut didn't get hurt in the first round. They are worse than the Spurs and Thunder. They are getting a lot of hype, but they are still the Clippers. They needed more than Spencer Hawes.
-
Disagree on the Mavs. They have a ring.RoadDawg55 said:Clippers are no different from the Warriors, Mavs, Rockets, and Grizzlies. They might have lost if Bogut didn't get hurt in the first round. So do the Lakers. I'm talking about this year.CuntWaffle said:
