Arizona might have had something to do with the defense looking a bit over-matched. Arizona is just plain better than we are this year given that almost three-fourths of our two-deeps on defense are underclassmen.
That being said, take back the two special team TD gifts and the 1st quarter short-field TD after turning the ball over on downs, get back our missed extra point and we find ourselves in a 38-38- tie late in the 4th quarter with the 15th rank team in the nation.
We didn't have our best game, but clean up special teams and we're right there. Gives me hope for the future once our kids gain that experience they lack right now.
