Hard for me to comp Moore (or Mendoza for that matter) to either Stroud or Herbert. Herbert was a little raw but a Greek God of a physical specimen. Nobody that big with that kind of arm should be able to run like that. Stroud is still one of the most talented just pure throwers of the ball I've ever seen in college. He was fucking elite.

Mendoza has the game winner at Penn State

You're right. I think I meant to say Herbert in that he feels like a guy who hasn't put it all together and had limited weapons at WR but could still go really high in the draft and be good. Herbert was truly a freak. Stroud I was going to say would be like a lofty comparison. Can't remember exactly but also feel like Stroud was more mobile too.
I think we also tend to write off college QBs because of some bad games against great defenses. Penix really struggled against Michigan obviously and had a few bad games during his career too.
I get questioning the Jets' franchise but man don't you want to be the man in New York City and while I feel like bad franchises can hold a young QB down a it's not something a guy can't overcome?

I get caught up with QB’s that drop dimes. My worst was Zach Wilson at BYU. He made some great throws in college and I thought he was going to be Joe Burrow II.
-
Give him all the credit in the world for that drive but his receiver (was it Sarratt?) made one of the best "go get it" toe drag on the line catches I've ever seen.

It was the other leading WR (Cooper?). Amazing catch when it was needed the most.
Becker, the white WR, has made a lot of plays the second half of the season.

Yeah, he's lethal. Forgot about him. He's money downfield on sideline throws. Tall, fast, good hands. Yeah, Indiana quietly has a pretty elite WR room.

Seriously they ruin qbs and had Darnold not made his way to San Francisco and Minnesota he would have been ruined. He’s still not fully recovered from his time in NY with his many turnovers. As someone mentioned in another thread, nobody turns their back away from being a top 5 pick by the Jets and I don’t get that mindset after so much data. I’d go the Manning route and if you drop a few spots you are still a multi millionaire and have a chance at reaching your potential unless of course the Jets draft you.

Josh Allen was pretty bad in college. It’s Wyoming, but it’s not like he was playing really tough competition. He had terrible stats and didn’t look good when I watched.
He wasn’t very good his first year or two in the NFL either. He had bust written all over him and now he’s arguably the best QB in the NFL.

Yeah, I’d literally never heard of him when he was drafted. I’m pretty stunned he turned out to be so fucking good. There seem to be quite a few guys like that. Drake Maye never showed me anything in college that said future NFL MVP, Mahomes wasn’t anything incredible in college, Purdy was the last pick in the fucking draft. You just never know.
