I'd rather have Paki than G. Hatchett but G. Hatchett is probably ok with not starting since he isn't an NFL guy so coming back gets him some more cash and maybe he'll work on a grad degree.
I could see UCLA dropping a bag for Paki.

Jedd has his work cut out for him in the portal. We are starting in a huge hole based on what we've lost and his lack of portal success thus far

Modern CFB is all about guys trading in their seat at the table for a better seat at a different table
I liked Paki and thought he had the potential to be a good OL
But he shouldn't have been guaranteed to be a starter going into next year … he was likely going to be the 6th OL and that by itself should have earned itself a lot of snaps
I don't blame Paki for leaving but he's probably the biggest loss so far in the portal besides Henning and Butler …
Henning you'd love to have had an open competition with Landon
Butler would have been nice to have had back but I didn't view any of the DL guys that we had as massive difference makers and I don't see any of those guys as overpay guys

Every program in America is in a portal hole. Players have entered the portal and haven't been able to be replaced yet.
