The Ryan Day lesson
Day was under fire before last year and last year all the way through his annual loss to Michigan. Yes he won 90 percent of his games but at that level it's the games you lose that count
Day was a brilliant play caller, allegedly, and kept doing it when he got promoted to head coach.
When he hired Chip and gave up play calling he still lost to Michigan but won the natty and everyone took a deep breath
Fast forward to last night where he took the play calling back and Ohio State sucked on offense and looked clueless as to any game plan. And got beat up which brought back fake tuff guy Day looking for Lou Holtz
The lesson is - if you're the head coach then be the head coach and leave the play calling to the OC. As CEO it's up to Day to hire another Chip. He should have let Hartline keep the job last night.

Those front running white trash people were walking out of the stadium after Miami converted their first 3rd down on their last drive. Like, WTF kinds of fans do that? Game was still in the balance. Miami fails to convert the subsequent first downs and Buck gets the ball back with much more time. Sure, when they scored after eating up 5 minutes it was fat lady but b4 that, no. And they were walking out.
