Both Iowa schools and Nebraska will be looking for a QB. He's from one of the Dakotas, I imagine he may want to "get developed" closer to home. In fact the former SDSU head coach is at Iowa State, I'm sure they have a prior relationship of some sort through the recruiting process.

Joe Burrow had the best season of all time in CFB. I agree with you, but if the QB competition at Ohio State was actually close, it means Kienholz is pretty good and can start for a good college team.

Lots of things are said during a QB competition from the coaches to the media. In 2022 the media was told there was a heated competition between Penix and Morris, there wasn’t. I’m thinking Sayin was always the guy. Kienholz might end up being pretty good but I’ll bet he’s good like the PSU QB Pribula was good. A Great athlete that’s just not quite accurate enough to be elite.
