Jedd Fisch -- Deny Today, Depart Tomorrow?

Problem is that many here think that this is an issue that is specific to Fisch … it's true throughout college football
Fisch will be here longer than DeBoer … for whatever that is worth
-
Sure … there are things to be critical of Fisch about
There are also things from which Fisch deserves credit for
Problem for those that are critical of Fisch is that they are very hard pressed to find reasons to call out the good that he's done through 2 years
Many UW fans (particularly around these parts) are critical of every coach for real (and unreal) reasons …
CP couldn't win in a major conference until he could
CP couldn't recruit against the big boys until he could
CP couldn't hire an OC … Babushka was hated until it was Hairy Bush Hamden and then Babushka was missed
DeBoer was not viewed favorably after losing to UCLA and a 3rd string QB at ASU early in Year 1 … the tides didn't change for him until he won at Oregon and then the money stepped up to retain MPJ and Rome to set up the Year 2 run to the Natty
If UW blows out somebody that they are supposed to there's bitching about that instead of recognizing that we're doing what we're supposed to be doing …
There's literally no winning right now with UW fans

Fisch just needs to last until about March 2026
I do agree with your first sentence.

Not losing to coug, Rutgers, and Wisconsin would have been a pretty good way to keep me on the fence. Offensive genius putting up more than single digits against teams with a pulse is obviously too much to ask.
-
Whoever our corch is moving into the future, we need to be paying final destination type money to keep them 10-13mil. 7mil, low buyout and a good season gets you gobbled up by blueblood programs
-
Make a wish for Fisch. Feel the excitement

I think Fisch stays and tries to ride Demond to the playoffs in 2027 and 2028. Then he will leave. Demond should be considered a top 15 QB for the next 3 years.
-
I agree and I still think he really wants to get the attention of an NFL team. That would be better for UW too since he couldn't take a bunch of players with him.
I see UW going 9-3 in the regular season and only 10-2 if they add a stud WR, stud DE, and very good CB. I'm not sure how they view the RB room. Whether 9-3 is good enough for the NFL to come calling is very debatable.

Judd is enamored by the NFL, he will be here long enough to parlay his success into coaching an NFL team. I’ve said this all along. This indeed bodes well for UW, one, he leaves, two, he can’t crater the program.
If he can run an efficient, productive offense that is the question moving forward

How is Demond eligible in 2028?
