Denzel Boston, Huskies star WR, forgoes final season at UW to enter NFL draft

I can already see it… FIsch leads Dwags to an Alamo Bowl win and 10 victories… And Canadawg will say "Fisch took UW to the top!"

Natty contender? Getting to a first round CFP exit next year would be a big win next year for UW.
I said going into the season WR/TE was an underrated massive question mark for UW, and it was. As much as Demond gets ranked on, there were a lot of reps where guys simply were never open and couldn't get separation. It was totally expected, but you're losing your one big threat at WR. There's some positive that Boston being banged up this year a few times I think helped build for next year.
Roebuck had a great year for a low 3* guy but one of the reasons that's what he was is that he's a guy who has possibly topped out as a talent and that will be what he is for the next three years. I think Lawson has potential, Rashid Williams is a wild card, and the incoming freshmen look good but UW may finally need to work in the portal to have much at WR.

You wanna tell me who the NFL players are on next year's offense? Maybe a couple of linemen? The TE room is weak right now. WR's are all unproved, outside of Roebuck who is not a big play guy down the field as much as a move the sticks guy, IMO. RB's are all unproven. QB is a midget with a peabrain.

Hardy har har
3rd best winning percentage season since Arizona joined the Pac 10
That's their top

Boston was the NFL player I was referring to
They will probably have a couple of Olineman and Roebuck eventually I'd think
-
I get that. My point is you said it takes NFL talent to get to the playoffs and I'm wondering where it is on offense because I see a lot of holes and question marks heading into next season.
-
Need another great TE in the portal too.
-
It's not there. Maybe the offensive play calling will make up for the lack of talent.
3rd year in and talent will still be an excuse for why the offense isn't better.
2029 seniors will be special enough for that first round playoff exit.

Boston throwing his name into the hat likely means that he was given feedback that he's a likely Day 1 pick
He's going to be anywhere between the 3rd and 5th WR taken in what should be a relatively weaker WR draft (particularly compared to next year's WR class)
If you go back to Rome's decision after 2022, I don't believe the consensus was that he'd be a Day 1 pick (same with MPJ) … coming back benefited them both in terms of both NIL and their draft stock
That's not the same equation for Boston and you could argue that he already came back for a year after last year where he was likely a Day 2 pick

"Natty Contender" Now that's some funny shit.
