Denzel Boston announced he will forgo his final season at Washington and enter the 2026 NFL draft Wednesday in a post on his social media accounts.

“Growing up in Washington, I dreamed of wearing purple and gold and playing for my hometown school,” Boston wrote. “Getting to live out that dream as a Husky is something I’ll never forget. Every time I stepped on that field, it was for the city that raised me and the people who supported me from day one.”

Boston spent four seasons at UW after starring at Emerald Ridge High in Puyallup. He appeared in 43 games, registered 132 catches for 1,781 yards receiving and 20 touchdowns.

“To the University of Washington and all the fans, thank you for welcoming me with open arms,” he wrote. “The love and support from this community means the world to me. I’ll always be proud to be a Dawg.”
