By Andy YamashitaSeattle Times staff reporter
Denzel Boston announced he will forgo his final season at Washington and enter the 2026 NFL draft Wednesday in a post on his social media accounts.
“Growing up in Washington, I dreamed of wearing purple and gold and playing for my hometown school,” Boston wrote. “Getting to live out that dream as a Husky is something I’ll never forget. Every time I stepped on that field, it was for the city that raised me and the people who supported me from day one.”
Boston spent four seasons at UW after starring at Emerald Ridge High in Puyallup. He appeared in 43 games, registered 132 catches for 1,781 yards receiving and 20 touchdowns.
“To the University of Washington and all the fans, thank you for welcoming me with open arms,” he wrote. “The love and support from this community means the world to me. I’ll always be proud to be a Dawg.”

It would be amazing if the Hawks got him in the late first.
I hope UW gets a JR or SR #1 WR in the portal. Hopefully they can drop a bag on Nick Marsh (in the portal from Michigan State) or Braden Pegan for a lower cost.
-
Wrong Marsh…
-
Big L for Canadawg and bigger L for UW
Changes the outlook for the season massively you can't replace him in the portal so don't doog about it
-
Clay or Pope (2027) should replace him.
-
WHAT AN IDIOT!!!
-
Grandpa Sankey could see this decision coming from a mile away.
-
Irrelevant for 2026
-
Thanks Taft!

Just wait til (2 seasons from now)!!!

I think they spent a lot of money on Cook last year. It's clear Judd will spend $$$ on a high talent WR even if they are a personality risk. I'm fairly confident they'll score someone good from the portal. Maybe not Boston level but really good and hopefully experienced. Cook caught 45 balls for 550 yards on a team that literally didn't have a QB, he would have been great in this offense if not for being a knucklehead.
