Only thing more stupid than Tulane and James Madison being in playoff games

The#15 and #16 P4 schools would have butt fucked the G5 schools. Utah and SC would have killed these versions of the G5 champs. Judd and the #30 ranked UW Huskies beat the MW champs by 28. The portal has taken all the best players from these G5 programs and has bolstered teams 10-30 in the P4 even more. You think Tulane would have been better with their QB who transferred to Duke for millions or their RB who transferred to Oregon for millions? Those two were not replaced by like talent players. Who knows how many others were strip mined from them before this year. It happens to all of them every year. There is no more Georgia beating TCU by 57 points in a title game. Those types of teams are probably gone for good. Get the 12-16 best teams in the tournament and roll the ball out.

That was Whittinghams Utah team that beat Alabama. Urbans team beat Pittsburgh.

"It's a Northern Virginia thing. UVA and Virginia Tech are still the flagships in the state but JMU has rapidly grown recently. UVA & Tech becoming harder and harder to get into push a lot of smart kids to JMU. In terms of the circle of people I spend time with socially and at work it is probably equal representation between JMU and VaTech with UVA a distant 3rd (due to being so fancy with its admissions and taking way too many out of state)."

That makes sense. Here in CA, it is almost impossible to get into a state school that your tax dollars go into. I can't tell you how many kids are choosing the SEC schools that, outside of GA (law requiring the vast majority of students be in state) and Vanderbuilt, are easy to get into. Ole Miss is doubling their student body and there is nowhere to live. I know 4 families who bought brand new homes for their kids and friends and have already made more than $100K on their investment.

We see the same thing with the SEC schools here. Bunch of kids at Ole Miss, Bama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Auburn, South Carolina. Georgia is the hard one to pull off. SCAR gets a lot of attention since there is in-state reciprocity if it offers a major that a Virginia school does not so there are a few shortcuts which kids have figured out.

I think its time to add one or two of the best high school teams to the playoffs as well… the regional playoffs to determine who gets in happens after thanksgiving and the BUZZ is incredible.
