yes, it does.

battle of the retards. the winner doesn't get past the next round.
the Miami OC is stupid. a total Mohamed situation again. you have a big fast back who is moving the ball on a windy day and instead you put the game in the hands of your worst (and most expensive) player. and fuck. I get it, Toney is a good player, but 90% of the plays can't be directed at him. I'm sure A&M knows who he is.
this is the kind of game Cristobal simply doesn't know how to win.
-
you would think with his tough-guy OL mindset, he’d lean on the run a lot more
-
He didn't mind running CJ Verdell into the backs of our OL 90% of the tim while at Oregon.
-
I'm enjoying the defensive battle.
-
what? most of Oregon's best games/wins came on Verdell's back. during that time, you had a raw Herbert with a very pedestrian WR room and you had that x-fer from BC who was terrible in the passing game.
not sure what you wanted him to do, and I'm in no mood to defend Cristobal, but your best wins, including over Peterman / UW and at Buck, conference ship against Ute, etc. came on Verdell's back. when he wasn't injured, that was a very good running. Verdell ran about as hard as I've seen anyone run. Oregon was at its best in those days with what it had on offense.
I wish he'd run Fletcher now like he ran Verdell back then.

Yes, but he became too predictable in his use of CJ. I was mostly responding to the 90% comment in that it's a recurring theme with Mario's staff to lock onto obvious players in O play calling.
-
Well fortunately for my sanity I have some place to be and can't watch the rest of this abortion. This is the kind of game that really does not play into Mario's hands. D playing lights out all game long, offense can't get out of its own way, eventually the D gives up a drive, there's last minute drama of Miami trying to score, the pressure is too much for Beck, and we? lose 7-3, or whatever.
I'll check in later.
