Yeah there's too many people around here that take pride in telling everyone how long it's been since they went to a game or how little they even watch. Softcore Husky if you ask me

Imagine not driving ~35 minutes to the stadium and then talking all that shit.

You even have @godawgst to point out the 15$ 300 level ticket to his dumb ass.

But oh no, gotta get those fox news links in

Yeah, I know you're all above this man. Too important.

I'll just leave you with this. I wasn't allowed to play football until 7th grade because my 34 year police officer dad told me that the peewee guys are fucking losers that kill kid's interest in the sport.

I had been up for 22 hours and was exhausted. With the game's outcome decided, I went to sleep.

The site's at its best when this kind of things happens.

I'll say this: @haie has a point. I don't have a position on the podcast because I don't listen to them. Not for any reason or that I think I'm above it; I just don't for whatever reason.

But the idea about showing to games and shit is fair. It's a chicken/egg question about fan support and putting a good product on the field and which comes first but there is something to the idea of peeling yourself off the couch to go to the stadium and all that. I myself went to more games this year and am planning to get seasons next year for the first time in like forever. My kids are all doing their own shit different parts of the country so I have time and I generally just like being at UW for any reason. I go all the time for different events and engagements, I walk there all the time, we go to the U Village all the time and I just fucking love the campus on gameday.

The other thing I'm going to get back into is traveling to watch the team when they're in a place worth visiting. I have buddies who are doing that and they have a good time. Next time we're at Michigan, etc. Haven't been to a Rose Bowl or even the Rose Bowl in a long time and will attend that one next time it comes around. That kind of shit is fun and I want to get back into it.

I was top Tyee for 34 years until 2007

I stopped going for the same reason that UW is begging for money and unable to land whales.

I watch every game. @haie is an unemployed raging alcoholic. Not that there's anything wrong with that

This is the same fucking argument for 20 fucking years

I made my bones while @haie was giving hand jobs in grade school

I don't blame anyone for not being able to make it to games. Life gets in the way with shit and they're less predictable and more of them. It's no longer 4-6 home games that almost all are 12:30 kicks. I sadly admit I actually get somewhat sad when I can't make it to home games because I feel like I'm letting the program down, even though I shouldn't. I question if I can keep going to Oregon games because I want to kill any fan I see.

I also can't really blame anyone who has jumped out of the boat after the university nuked the program, the Willingham years, bottoming out under Jimmy, the university not caring to compete again, and now another nuking when DeBoer left. Then throw in players fucking over the program and the team saying "go be great" and it's hard.
