Not denying the Confederacy has made strides, but at some point it was hard for them to keep getting worse.

They use to be the worst. They are in the middle now. Oregon and Cali are at the bottom. They used to be the best. And the best you can do is a snark that has nothing to do with that fact. You are telling us that an income tax in Washington will be a difference maker. It hasn't in Cali and Oregon. Both Oregon and Washington had a massive infusion of money into K-12. They spent the money and test scores are declining. A real MBA would be wondering why this time it will be different when the same leftards are running the clown show.

    California isn't at the bottom.

Oregon is. That hasn't changed in decades.

And I appreciate you worrying about my state tax bill. It'll still be WAY lower than it would be in Oregon, Idaho, or Montana, even if the income tax being discussed is adopted.

Btw, I didn't specifically link the income tax to education, you girls did. And you assume (wrongly) that I would support the income tax even if all of Washington's more regressive taxes remain fully in place. I would expect the income tax to replace some other taxes, either in whole or in part. The B&O tax, to pick one example, is nuts.

No chance an income tax replaces other taxes.

We'll see. Those are the discussions going on right now. Despite this being a "super-duper secret", there's actually been a lot of public reporting about it . . . for weeks.

There’s a $2b budget gap on a budget signed like 10 months ago that included lots more tax revenue (supposedly). No dems in this state understand or even know what the laffer curve is.

Anyone who knows what the Laffer Curve is should be embarrassed to say that Washington's tax rates risk disincentivizing work and investment.

The current state tax rate isn't a problem. Team Dazzler wants to fix it so that it is a problem. Seattle and King County are a current problem. How hard is if for the Dazzler to say he doesn't support a Washington state income tax. He doesn't because he does. Ergo, then it is a problem.

Yeah that 10% tax starting at anything over $1 million is going to have me turning down work right and left. 'Cuz Arthur Laffer, of course. (Some Muslim actually came up with it 600 years before, as Laffer noted himself.)

I've made no secret of my support for a state income tax, so your poast doesn't actually make any sense when it attempts to out me as an income tax supporter.
