I make out like a bandit not having an income tax in Washington.
But it is terrible policy to have the monied class paying a lesser percentage in taxes than everyone else.

If only California was brave enough to have an income tax they could solve their problems like having a shitty education system. Why don't they care about the kids? And the dazzler pretends he has an MBA and people like him can fix the problem. It's not a jobs program for adults. It is a jobs program for dem DEI employees.

Gasbag will do anything to avoid running the numbers in the hypothetical. Spoiler alert: if the income tax being discussed were to be enacted and upheld by the court in Washington, the hypothetical Washington taxpayer with a $3 million house and a $1.5 million annual income will still pay tens of thousands of dollars less in state taxes than he would in Oregon, Idaho, or Montana. When are you socialist girls gonna fix your own states?

Spoiler alert. The education system in both California and Oregon are among the nation's worse. If high income taxes was the solution then that wouldn't be true. The dazzler's view of tax and spend doesn't work if the spend is not directed toward a policy solution but rather to pay dem government and NGO employees. Any attempt to clean up the waste and fraud is opposed by Team dazzler. Just like cleaning up elections. Just like cleaning up the border mess. They just whine about not doing it the right way when they created the problems.
