What time should I come by to fix the plumbing?🤔🤔🤔
Hayoooooo!!!! -
Demond does not have "it" … "it" being enough height.
I agree with the Hugh Millen assessment here.He can't see and over the middle stuff is mostly out of the picture and he also ends up dropping back too far.

The board is better after a sex scandal.

I'm good with rolling with Demond for 2026. He's only 19, was only a true soph coming into this season, and had just 1 career start under his belt before the season.
I do agree with what Millen said but it's important to keep in mind that Demond's legs force DC's to spy him often and that hurts what you can do on coverage. If he was a 5'10" QB who had average mobility, this would be a totally different conversation.
Henning had more problems with shotguns but assuming he works on it and L. Hatchett gets healthy, you may see Demond back in more shotgun which helps his vision. OTOH, Mohammed seems to run better when he takes the handoff with Demond on center so it's tough to know.

I'd like to see a QB brought in and an actual competition (I know we won't).
I think the height issue is a real problem given how pass centric Jedd wants to be.
I also am a little surprised how "not quick" Demond actually is.
This is no Lamar Jackson situation.
Also, Lamar is 6'3" anyhow, so you really did/do have to worry about all the types of threats with him, which is not really true of DeMond.
I'd be more optimistic if he hadn't been just completely shut down by the good teams this year.

Surely, we can agree that us fans how absorbed a lot of abuse with all the "improvements" to college football and sometimes we can't get it up like we used to. I think we need to give ourselves more grace for not "following the program".

Competition is hard to make happen nowadays. QB’s get paid and go where they can start with the transfer rules. So the only way to make competition is either you already have them on your roster or get a small school guy that has produced, but even those guys will go to the highest bidder or a place they can start.
McMillan seems like the only candidate that could possibly push Demond.
I still think Demond has a bright future. I didn’t like what I saw the second half of the season, but we have seen him play great in the past.
