I like to make schools a gun-free zone so that cowards have a place to fire off a few rounds without retribution. That's what I like to do.

In all seriousness, this shit's gotta stop. The answer to better prevention isn't clear.
But two things that can help is
1)better screening for weapon ownership.
2) Consequences for gun owners whose weapons are used in crimes.
2a) More teachers like the ones previously mentioned this week. I mean if you're getting slobbed by even a semi hot teacher every now and then, you won't be lifting Dad's Browning from under the bed with bad intent. -
