Tough go for the cougs. It's Tough to be a mtn west school in general these days. I think the way to win is poach backups from bigger schools where you only get 1 or 2 years from them and hope they have something. Freshmen and sophomores are gone for the bag if they show anything.

I have no idea who is currently in the Mountain West, but I associate it with Boise State, Nevada, UNLV, San Diego State, Hawaii. I’d rather live in any of those places and they’re probably equal or better schools in most cases. Mountain West feels aspirational for them.
