Best and/or favorite Led Zeppelin Studio Album?
Was watching "Becoming Led Zeppelin" on the plane ride to London last month. I give it 2 thumbs up. It occurred to be that I don't think I've done a polling series of each artist's best album.

Presence often gets slagged, but it has some bangers for me

Led Zeppelin IV
I could move Presence up two spots rather easily. I wasn't slagging it by putting it where I did though. I like all of them.

Led Zeppelin III
I keep coming back to III year after year. Their best overall blend of bangers and folk. Immigrant Song and Gallows Pole can’t be topped.

I just meant in general, over the years it seems like that when LZ is discussed, Presence is rarely if ever in the convo…

Changing my vote to 1.
My favorite three consecutive track segment on any of their albums is Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, You Shook Me, and Dazed and Confused.
Dazed and Confused is my favorite Zeppelin track of all time. Killer vocals, manic drums, and some great lines (soul of a woman was created below").
Plenty of shredding on 1, some great blues stuff, and none of their folksy stuff that I really do not enjoy.

I knew what you meant. I only said that for the record.
When I listen to 1 I always have a few moments where I think it's my favorite. Communication Breakdown doesn't get that many mentions but I think it's one of their best songs. The intro and transition into the opening riff on How Many More Times is probably my favorite section of any LZ song. It's pretty badasa when it transions back to that riff too.

Speaking of Zeppelin, I just finished Cameron Crowe’s memoir “The Uncool” a couple days ago. Would recommend for the music nerds, like us…

I can't pick but that is a great movie. Gave me a new respect for 11111 that I had forgotten
It was unique and shocking and rocking Jerry
