The recruiting rankings get more and more fucked out every year. I think Judd and co are committed to playing the game though and you have to now. I don't see any way how this could be a negative. I thought Judd did a good job of talent ID and development at Arizona. I see some reasons to believe that's happening at UW too. There's a lot of shit to get mad about with him right now but this isn't really one of them.
The commitment to in-state is something I like too.

I just want local boys who shit purple.
That's what I want.
-
that would be a sign of colon cancer, so get ‘em in the lineup fast
-
But do they piss gold? That's the real question here.
-
I would too, but upgrading the talent is always good.

I actually think the players are developed pretty well by this staff. I don’t think it will be a Sark situation where the players don’t get better as they get older. If Walters stays, the defense will be very salty soon. Judds shitty offense will benefit from lineman like Greene, Mills, Tualala and Paki growing into a big, athletic unit together. Whoever the QB is in the future should get more time for those stupid slow developing routes to come open and the RB’s should get 100 yards on their robust 15 carries. Fish isn’t a Natty guy but I could see a roster talented enough to make the playoffs semi regularly despite the offense if the recruiting can stay at this level.

Demond actually reminded me of the longer they stay the worse they play
Needs to work harder than ever this off season and really buy in
I agree that the defense did not regress. The opposite.

Defense improved as the season went on. Offense seemed stagnant. Did anyone on offense get better this year besides John Mills? Mohammed maybe? AM seems like the kind of RB that gets better the more carries he gets. He kind of gets rolling.
Otherwise, I'm not sure I really saw anyone improve. -
maybe he is the new Keith Price. I look forward to arguing with the doogs about whether he was better than Locker after a career that tops off and never reaches its potential.

roebeck, henning and finau improved. Offense as a whole did not.
