Jonathan Smith’s couch sold
No surprise he was fired, never thought he would succeed there. He can chill for a couple years and collect his millions and Oregon State will be open again in 2/3 years and he can be a lifer there assuming he gets back into coaching. He’s owed $33 million and wouldn’t be dumb enough to take less than the $9 Franklin accepted buyout of approximately $45 million (this number might be off). I doubt anyone here believed he would succeed there but he got roasted by many of us here and Pete was to blame for being too involved. I would definitely take him here as an OC but that will never happen.

For the last time you numbskull, the Penn State buyout was mitigated by his new contract, like perhaps literally every single one that is signed these days. Smith very well may have a duty to mitigate clause in his contract(James Franklin did), meaning he has to seek employment that would offset the buyout.

Do us all a favor and unfollow me. I now understand why many here don’t like you, it’s too bad you are bipolar and slightly angry with a college football God complex. I actually thought you might be a decent guy but your delivery is terrible man.
I’m old and have permanent head trauma from a fall nearly 2 years ago, cut me some fucking slack.
