Washington is never losing a coach to UCLA
Imagine looking at that 15% filled nightmare of a dilapidated stadium (Rose Bowl game notwithstanding) and think you should leave UW for that.

There’s plenty of options and next year FSU will be shopping for a new head coach.
You don’t really want him to stay do you, haven’t you seen enough? He will never be here past year 3 unless he shits the bed next year. UCLA has had a legit head coach in years and they have the advantage of a full share. Plus I don’t believe his decision is all about football assuming he loves his kids and wife.

point is true except dilapidated… Rose Bowl while not being ideal for other reasons, is not falling apart… they've put hundreds of millions into upgrades.

Went to the game last night with Mrs. H and the Pasadena daughter. The “crowd” was as excited as any 1981 Mariners Kingdome audience would have been to play Cleveland in August in the midst of an 8 game losing streak.
The stadium is not dilapidated though.

I think it's plausible. Big and wealthy Jewish community in West LA, I could see Jedd and family being into that scene and not caring about whether they have a ton of fan support.
He's a good salesman and UCLA is not hard to sell if you are good at it.

I can totally see the UCLA thing (especially for Jedd). Nice weather. LA is a cool place to live if you are very rich, despite what some Tuggers might say. A few more opportunities to smell McVay's laundry. Your family likes it. A guy who is at least ok like Jedd could easily ride out 4-5 years at worst there being mediocre but it's a joke move to take that job.
Not a bad gig for someone on their way up though.
