TinyTitty??? Of the Coney Island TinyTitties?

If this goes down and effectively extends the GOR by another decade, say goodbye to the super conferences in 2036. That's why USC and Michigan are out.

Greed is NOT good. Fuck you @Tequilla !!

I wish we were actually greedy. Debt in theory is cheaper than equity. We are betting against ourselves. UW taking this deal is like my daughter who would rather having $1 today than $2 tomorrow.

Private equity is the equivalent of rent to own furniture. Looks nice for about a week then it all falls to shit.

Guaranteed you could get someone to put together a line of credit or a bond for a lot less than a 10% stake if you need a cash infusion. And if you are gonna take on an investor, at least have the investor bring something to the table. A pension fund is not that kind of investor.

How did we have college football for 100+ years without private equity? If your answer is not paying the players then maybe consider if that's not a sustainable endeavor.
Things will also get interesting as I assume the TV deals may have to eventually stop growing.

Sometimes I have dark thoughts about wanting colleges to get out of the football bidness and let the NFL take over the farm system.

Same way we went from 1776 to 1913 without an income tax or central bank.
TITTT but IRYK

They don't make hit Broadway shows about Jefferson or Old Hickory, Chief.
