    Been saying Hartline from the beginning.

    But other sports certainly fly too. No idea if that was the reason there.

    Hartline is high risk, high reward. He’s been learning from Meyer and Day, two championship coaches since he got into the business. Good pedigree? Check. He’s an elite recruiter. He didn’t just run point on WR at OSU. He was a lead recruiter for many position groups and many highly sought after athletes. Maybe the best pure recruiter in America. Cult of personality? Probable check. His minus really is the fact that he’s only coordinated offense for exactly 3/4 of a year and this may be the least explosive and dynamic looking Buckeye offense since Luke Fickell was head coach. His offense is milquetoast and kinda boring to watch. When Day was OC the OSU offense was electric. Hartline? Not so much. He would have to set a culture, never done it, he will have to restock the cupboards. He can probably do that. Seems risky but what do I know? I bag groceries.
