This is telling. Bad special teams usually portends a mediocre/bad coach.
Don James and Pete had good/great special teams play. DeBoer had poor ST play his first four games but it slowly rectified itself. By year 2 they were coverage assassins and Gross was nails. Judd had PooPoo running special teams last year and they were just awful. Hires two new guys to take over which excited me coming into the year and it’s more of the same. It’s always the head coach!!! Why do I ever let myself forget?!?!? -
I was also right.
First and obvious red flag was him not getting his guys from Arizona which was a major reason to hire him.
