    Chinteresting

How is it possible 2024 had more ticket revenue than 2023?

Why does fancy school big city UW not have better donors?

    UW purged the big donors

2024 almost assuredly is tied to the 2023-2024 academic year so would include the 2023 football season

The donor question is problematic and critical …

UW has done a horrific job of attracting young alumni as part of their donor base. It's of particular concern when you think about how the most known of donors are aging and there is the potential for a void in the coming years.

I can't help but hypothesize that a byproduct of some of upper campus deciding to focus more on out of state/country students for a time being has contributed to the gaps with younger alumni. I am happy to see that part of the background of the new President is a focus on education being affordable to in-state students. That's a personal issue for me that I feel very passionately about and think that that should be a core tenant of UW's undergraduate portfolio of students. It also has obvious implications to future donor dollars.

Big picture though the donor question on the whole is one of the more critical ones and a very valid reason to look at the internal rot of the Athletic Department and the need for it frankly to be completely turned over to match what is required in the Big10 Conference. Too much of the legacy AD is tied to small level thinkers that are akin to Jen's small world thinking.

We desperately need an AD that has a big vision, an energy to execute, and one that doesn't view a lack of performance as being acceptable. Chun isn't that person.

You've just validated why I don't put up with your BS

I'm happy to have discussions with anybody

I'm not going to engage with people that prioritize trolling and hating as part of their DNA

I have the highest of standard for this program … you constantly miss that

I also have a very keen understanding of where this program sits at present in the world of CFB and the Big10

There are structural issues that need to be fixed to consistently play at the top ends of things

That starts with tearing down the Athletic Department … the same Athletic Department that you often claim that I enable and support … only a delusional idiot would ever confuse me with an Athletic Department shill

I will hand it to you though Race … you are the King of the Simpletons

Too many are oblivious to the fact that if/when Jedd leaves this offseason that the balance of the roster leaves with him.

The next hire will almost assuredly lose not only the roster but the recruits in this class.

The odds of hiring anybody at Jedd's level is one that I wouldn't bet on as I have very minimal respect for Chun

What's the best hire that you're making if Jedd leaves?

    Wilcox? Babushka? Eck? Mora?

None of them are bringing a roster with them that replaces the one that leaves … not even close.

I'd love to get someone better but realistically … who is getting hired given that UW will be at the back of the queue when it comes to beginning and executing a coaching search.

If you thought 2024 was bad 2026 will be worse if Jedd leaves and the rebuild will be far less rapid than what we saw from 2024 to 2025.

I don't think UW controls anything with respect to keeping Jedd … if UCLA is able to bring to the table anything that approaches comparable resources to UW where Jedd feels like he can bring the important parts of his roster with him … he's out

I can't wait to see those that were pissed at Jedd's 6-6 last year get pissed at what comes after when 3-9 or 4-8 is on the table

If you think Pat Chun is going to make a good hire … good luck

Always good to have a Coug loser heading up the UW Athletic Department

Doogs have been making this argument for decades now.

I’ve always leaned more towards Jedd being a good coach, but jeez man. Get a grip. If he leaves, we hire another coach and like most coaches, it will be a crap shoot if he ends up being good.
