I have a misdemeanor criminal record and did 30 days in Multnomah County in my younger days. If people were allowed to invest their own social security dollars, there would be a big hole in bond demand. So not only does the money get raided out of the trust, but the trust existing props up the deficit spending.

The dazzler uses that line that we need illiterate non-English speaking illegal aliens who come her to go on US and state welfare to save social security. Seems like there is a world economic laboratory out there but ideologues like the dazzler aren't interested in actual economic results.
