Granted, Aerosmith was running on fumes at this point and hardly relevant anymore until they collabed with Run DMC in 1986 and turned that into Permanent Vacation in 1987 which nobody knew about until MTV started blowing it up. And that is when I basically stopped listening to Aerosmith as it was not the grimy Aerosmith my uncles introduced me to.

Great album by a very good band. Their first four albums were great for the genre. Maybe following Metallica on the '88 Monsters of Rock did them in??

While at the Wisconsin game, talking with my high school buddy whose favorite band is AC/DC. I asked him what his favorite AC/DC album was and it was Powerage.
-
Hard to beat Highway to Hell.
-
I agree. HTH is my favorite AC/DC album by far. But I think Powerage is like the guitar players of the world favorite album. Like Fair Warning.
-
As a (sort of former) guitar player I can tell you all the circles I ever got in Powerade was the guitar players favorite album.

My cousin and I still talk about this album all the time. Reminds us of his late rockstar Dad. He loved this album and we would have lots of late nights drinking Rolling Rocks (back when it was good and brewed in Latrobe). Threw it on this morning, it’s a perfect record. Never gets old.

I swear Bridge of Sighs was played on KISW every Friday night at midnight from 1981-1986. It just seemed like the perfect drive home in the dark music.
