I doubt they have enough offense to get the minimum required points to beat Oregon however.
I think Oregon covers the 5.5 pretty easily and wins by 10+

Nobody here wants Oregon to lose more than me, trust me…Nobody.
That said, I will take the "over 13" for Oregon point total if that's the bet.

IF, UW wins out they need Oregon to be 10-1 in order to make the playoffs. Seeing as Oregon is perceived nationally to be an SECesque type team, that win would carry a ton of weight to the major influencers at the de facto SEC network, or as most call it, ESPN.

It's also better for our chances in terms of mentality.
If Oregon comes to Seattle at 10-1, they will be very high on their own supply, no doubt with new costumes to match.
They always like to dress up like the Raiders when they play in Seattle now. I'm not sure why.

I don't root for them for any reason.
If their results benefit us, so be it, but I hate them with the passion of a thousand suns and will never root for them unless it's against cancer.
Also, let me tell ya from first hand knowledge.

The Sco Ducks thing is satire, but I won't be mad if they come to Seattle with one loss. The best UW wins over Oregon are the 3 point heartbreakers that ruin their season. Just ask @SFGbob about those games.

If we are actually serious about making the playoffs we probably need Oregon coming in 10-1, yes. I have a hard time seeing US beat them if they are good enough to get there though.
I don't see a team with Iowa's offense beating them. Especially their QB.
The weather forecast is cold and wet supposedly in Iowa City Saturday though.
