Almost all of the open schools are going to end up hiring a guy at a lower level and then selling their fans on using the difference to buy more players through the portal.

Damone?

Yes, but at least we aren't being eaten by the shark like wsu.

You’d have to be a young coach looking for a payday or a moron to take the Florida job. It’s destroyed the careers of everyone except Urban Meyer in the last 20 years. Alabama and Georgia have moved way past UF and LSU has a lot more funding and support. Unless you are an all-world coach you’re hoping for 4th in the SEC and lasting 3 or 4 years before you get run off for not being Spurrier or Urban. Curious who actually goes for that job…think they are going to have to take a chance on an inexperienced hire.

You mean like Billy Napier?
This is all just leveraging your current employer for more money. I think it's pretty set in stone at this place that 10-2 and the Playoff and you can get a statue built in front of the stadium that Kim will make cringe X posts about.

I believe Kiffin will get poached by the NFL most likely. Sark would like to bail to the NFL too but he’s an average coach with a Nike checkbook.
-
Both could coach in the NFL if they really wanted to. Yes, Sark too.
They make more in college. No NFL team is going to bend over backwards for Kiffin and they definitely won’t for Sark. -
Mike Macdonald, the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks, has an estimated annual salary of approximately $9 million, making him one of the highest-paid rookie head coaches in NFL history.
Kiffin has been fired and an assistant and fired from that and is still ticking in line to make more than the Hawks coach in college
McDonald has three years tops. Looks good so far but things change all the time. If he fails its back to the coordinator line

The top 10 or so NFL had coach salaries are higher than the current #1 paid college coach.
-
They also have won or been to Super Bowls with a couple outliers like the Bears
I'd pay Andy Reid 20 million
